In the drivetrain configuration, the right and left sides need to be switched for it to work correctly. Note that the Tank Drive Quick Start sample has this problem. To reproduce, create a Quick Start Tank Drive project and run the sample program. Note the front of the robot, and that the turn left function works properly. Now run Test Drive, and use the manual control for the move “motor_right”. Note that it controls the left side of the drivetrain.
This is not just an issue for the Quick Start sample, it happens on real robots too.
Be careful how you fix this, as the change will impact existing programs.
